A 300km/h pick-up…

The Pickup was another four-wheel gem freshly built by M GmbH on the basis of the M3 E90. The vehicle was used by the M GmbH for workshop and… journeys. The 420-HP transporter was tested extensively on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring. After the tests, M3 pick-up has the approval on a road and became the fastest pick-up in the world capable to top a speed of over 300 km/h.

Compared to the M3 Convertible, the M3 pick-up is lighter of 50 kg. Removal of the roof brings another 20 kg off weight lowering also the mass center. In the 1980s there was already an M3 already pick-up. Just like his older brother, the new M3 pickup was not available for sale.

The BMW M3 E30 pick-up.

Knowing how flexible the E30 is, M engineering artists have built a sporty pick-up for themselves. it was created on the basis of one of the first M3 models. It’s 195-HP engine had to serve properly as a workhorse for workshop assignments – as the pictures with the cut off back demonstrates.

25 Years of BMW M5

25Th anniversary of the BMW M5, the M put on the road a limited edition of M5 called: BMW M5 25 years. It was one car created only and it was used on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring as race… taxi! Its engine boosts monstrous 600 HP and the circuit operates as a dual-clutch transmission without traction interruption.
